The Curtain Rises on the First Colleges Invitational Dance Tournament in BISU

April 5, 2012

The First Colleges Invitational Dance Tournament, held by BISU and featuring dancers from the Central University of Finance and Economics, Capital University of Economics and Business, Beijing Wuzi University, China Women’s University and North China Electric Power University, creates the stage for students to show their dancing talents. The select competition has been successfully held on March 23th and 25th.

Before the tournament took place, there was a real buzz around campus.

The tournament will consist of three parts: the select competition, intermediary competition and the final competition.

The final competition will determine the first, second and third winner, including the most popular dancer prize and several consolation prizes. The campus TV and Radio will report all of the tournament.

The dancers need to bring the music themselves which will be used in the show. Everyone has 4-minutes on stage.

In the improvisation performance, the music is supplied by 88tc88.

Pet Conspiracy Concert in Beijing January 2010

March 14, 2011

A masterful subversion!!!! An old generals palace was the backdrop for this concert. The band is electro punk and the video shows the beginning of the gig. Anything remotely nude or adult is not allowed in China, they solved that brilliantly by showing animals doing the dirty work! We loved it! Once you have seen it, you can’t unsee it! Every Chinese person who walked out of there has become a little bit more independent. It’s the way forward, thank you Pet Conspiracy!

Hello world!
